Not every worn roof needs to come off. In many cases a roof can be repaired for less than a replacement. A replacement makes sense when the problems are spread across the whole roof instead of one spot.
The signs we look for on a walk-around:
- Shingles curling, cracking, or missing across several areas, not just one
- Shingle granules collecting in the gutters and at the downspouts
- Leaks showing up in more than one room
- Soft or sagging spots that point to wood damage underneath
- Storm damage from hail or wind that runs across the roof

Underlayment and ice guard
Synthetic felt across the deck, and ice and water guard along the gutters and in the valleys, the places Ohio winters push water the hardest.
Edges, vents and flashing
Your contract lists which of these get replaced on your roof: drip edge, ridge vent or box vents, plumbing boots, chimney flashing, and skylights. These are where most leaks start.
Cleanup that respects the yard
Landscaping protected where needed while the old roof comes off, and a magnetic sweep of the yard for nails when the job is done.

The manufacturer's warranty covers the shingles. Crest's own labor warranty covers the installation, and its terms are written on your contract. We have been in business since 1991, and our shop is on Cleveland Ave in Uniontown.
