Barberton is a working city of around 25,000 people, and it has real history in its houses. O.C. Barber laid the town out in 1891, and the streets around Lake Anna Park and the old Anna Dean Farm still carry early-1900s workers' homes, brick blocks, and the kind of steep older rooflines that a new crew tends to underprice or get wrong.
