Roof replacement & repair
Whole-roof replacements, new shingle and metal systems, and repairs priced as repairs. We install TAMKO, GAF, ELK, CertainTeed, IKO, and Owens Corning.
Crest Roofing has put roofs on Green homes since 1991, working from a shop just up Cleveland Avenue near the Summit County line. Roofing, siding, and seamless gutters, with free itemized estimates and a 5-year labor warranty.
One local crew handles the whole job, quoted up front and cleaned up the same day.

Green sits in the path of the same wind lines that track between Akron and Canton. We document the damage, work with your insurer, and put the roof back right.
Aluminum, vinyl, and composite siding to match Green's mix of newer developments and the older homes around Greensburg.
Aluminum gutters run seamless on site, downspouts placed where the water actually goes, and attic ventilation that keeps a roof from cooking itself.
Our shop sits on Cleveland Ave NW in Uniontown, directly south of Green and a short drive from most of the city. When a Green homeowner calls about a leak, the crew coming out is already close. Parts of the Green area even share the 44685 ZIP code with our own address, so this is genuinely our backyard, not a service radius we drew on a map to look local.
Green grew up fast. A lot of the streets off Massillon Road, the Route 241 corridor, and out toward Turkeyfoot Lake were built between the 1990s and the 2010s, which means whole neighborhoods went up around the same time. The roofs on those homes are now aging out together, street by street, at the same point in their life. When one house on a block needs a roof, the ones on either side usually are not far behind. The older homes around Greensburg tell a different story, with different framing and different problems, and both get the same honest look from us.
We have worked these roads since 1991. That is not marketing. It is the same family, owner Robert Spino at the head of it, doing the same work three decades in. One crew starts your job and the same crew finishes it, so nobody hands you off and nobody disappears halfway through.
Green sits right in the corridor where summer storm lines cross Northeast Ohio, and 2025 proved it. In June a line pushed 70 mph gusts through the area with Green named in the warning. In late July a 60 mph line moved from near Green up through North Canton, and days later another 60 mph line named Green directly. That kind of wind lifts shingles, tears flashing, and drives rain under a roof that looked fine from the driveway. Add the freeze and thaw of every Ohio winter, when water works into small gaps and expands, and roofs here take more punishment than the shingle wrapper ever accounts for.
After a storm, the first knock on a Green door is usually an out-of-town canvasser chasing the damage. They move through a neighborhood fast, push for a signature, and are gone before the work is proven. We are the close, established alternative. If your roof took a hit, we photograph and document everything, help you file the claim correctly, and handle the repair or replacement ourselves, with a crew from a shop you can drive past any day of the week. When we tear off an old roof, the debris is hauled away the same day and the yard gets rolled for stray nails before we leave.
Not sure whether that storm did real damage? The inspection and the estimate are free, and we will tell you if the roof is fine.
No high-pressure sit-down, no mystery pricing. Here is what actually happens when you call us out to a Green home.
We come out, get on the roof, and look at the whole system: the shingles, the flashing, the valleys, the vents, and the gutters. Then you get an itemized estimate that spells out what needs doing and what it costs, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. If a repair solves the problem, we say so. We are not going to sell you a full roof to fix a single leak.
When it is time to replace, we run the shingle brands that hold up in Ohio weather: TAMKO, GAF, ELK, CertainTeed, IKO, and Owens Corning. Beyond shingles we handle metal roofs, aluminum, vinyl, and composite siding, seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts, box gutters, and the attic ventilation that keeps the next roof lasting as long as it should. It is one crew and one point of contact for the whole exterior, which matters when the last thing you want after a storm is to chase three different contractors.
Everything we do is backed by a 5-year labor warranty on top of the manufacturer's coverage on the materials. Since we have been on Cleveland Ave since 1991 and we are BBB accredited, that warranty means something. We will still be minutes down the road if you ever need us again.
From the newer developments off Massillon Road to the lakeside properties near the Portage Lakes and the older streets around Greensburg, if it is Green, it is close to home for us.
We also cover the neighboring communities: Uniontown, North Canton, Hartville, and Barberton.
Our shop is at 9727 Cleveland Ave NW in Uniontown, minutes south of Green. For an active leak, call (330) 577-6658 and tell us what is happening. For everything else, we schedule a free estimate around your week.
Quite possibly. A lot of Green went up in that window, so the roofs on a whole street often reach the end of their life around the same time. Asphalt shingles from that era are at or past their expected age now. We will tell you honestly whether you need a repair, a full replacement, or nothing yet, with a free itemized estimate either way.
Slow down before you sign anything. Storm chasers work fast and leave town faster, and the warranty is only as good as the company still being here to honor it. We have been on Cleveland Ave since 1991, minutes from Green, and we are not going anywhere. Get our free look before you commit.
Yes. We work all of Green, from the newer builds off Massillon Road to the older and lakeside homes toward the Portage Lakes. Lakeside properties often deal with more wind exposure and older structures, and we handle both the roof and the gutter and ventilation work that goes with them.
Five years on our labor, on top of the manufacturer's warranty on the shingles. And since we have been here since 1991, that warranty comes from a company that will still be up the road when you need it honored.
Tell us what is going on up there. We come out, take a real look, and give you an itemized estimate with no pressure and no games.
